Sign In Having some concerns with my Rodeo with regards to acceleration. 5 speed manual transmission. When attempting to get moving in first gear I have to rev the RPMs way up to even get going. I can get through the gears evenutually and it operates fine once up to speed. Sign In Does this car take high revs with the clutch engaged as in your foot off the pedal? If so that is typical of a worn out clutch or pedal free play is to small and it's like riding the clutch when you are not.
