After I pump about 4 recharge cans into it, it'll last about 3 months before it runs out. The only way O-rings get damaged is during assembly. Those trucks are notorious for leaking evaporators and the entire dash has to come out for that. If you continue running it low as you have been, you can add a compressor to that also because it will be ruined if it isn't already. If that's a single unit, thats about 2 cans too much.....
