I have a 1999 dodge neon it has 101000 miles on it. I woke up this morning trying to start it to go to work .....but the key would not turn while in the ignition to start....also my wheel is locked out All the way to the left. Please write help ....please.[:(]

If left at an extreme it may take turning the wheel more toward that extreme while turning the key to get it to move. What can happen is with power assist it was turned hard and now wants to be more towards straight ahead and the force is preventing you from unlocking the wheel lock or turning the key - taking that tension off of it by turning the wheel and key at same time will probably work. Go easy on the key so it doesn't just break.
Really sounds like this is just shut down too far to an extreme for easy key movement,
