1998 plymouth breeze

1998 plymouth breeze Sign In

i have a 1998 plymouth breeze 2.0 and we changed the crankpostion sensor and also changed the plug for it. it started but only lasted a few minutes than died and is doing the same thing no rpm. and wont start . what could this be

What do you mean "no rpm" as you just said? Either it cranks or doesn't or do you mean the RPM gauge doesn't even read while cranking?


If it cranks and doesn't start you follow the list for why in this thread at this spot and post results...........

Just because you may have an issue with the crank sensor circuit, doesn't necessarily mean the crank sensor itself is the cause.

Check for any stored codes to start with.

yes it dont read it. and it cranks but wont start. than he replaced the crank position sensor. and it ran great for weeks. and started doing it again and we changed the plug that goes to it. and now its back doing it again.

So, now it has to be diagnosed to find out why.
