Help I have a 1998 aurora, it had a blown head gasket and that was repaired.I drove for 1 week and it started overheating,
Now when I start the car it will run a few minutes then cut off. No one can figure out what is wrong with it. Could it be the computer or theft system ? HELP

10 years old already, how long do you plan to band-aid this old heap?

let it go and pick up a reliable modern vehicle.

cars are much better nowadays

I 'm sure your looking for a better answer that that.

Yes,it could be many things causing it to stall...Who is "no one"?

My advice would be to take it in to a qualified service center/Dealer ( I prefer Dealer on this concern) and have some diagnostics run ...
It'll be worth the money..then you can decide if you want to put any more money into it.
Most of the Oldsmobile technicians went to other GM dealers, I.E. Cadillac,Buick,Chevrolet,Pontiac...when Olds folded...
All will have access to the latest up to date info/specs,etc on your car and will be able to diagnose it properly.
At least you can then eliminate the guess work....
Thats my opinion
See what the others may say.
