1998 Dodge Pickup

I have a 1998 1/2 ton pickup with a 360 motor and need to replace the automatic transmission. does anyone no what year trans other than 98 will fit it if any. Thanks for the help!!!!

If you are going to try a used one, ask the salvage yard of choice which ones will fit. They will know what to ask for a direct swap. If truck is worth a damn I'd sooner have that one rebuilt but up to you,
