1997 Saab 900 reverse lights do not come on...

I have a 1997 Saab 900 SE 2.0 Turbo manual transmission. When the car is in reverse (parking brake off) the back-up tail lights do not come on.
Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

the back up lights???
if i had to guess,which is all i can do....
switch
bulbs
sockets
wiring.
