My 97 Bonneville has 224000 miles. 3.8 engine,My problem is the car will not start. When this happens I also loose power to my seats and windows, another thing is that my rear defrost light will be on even with the defrost not on. If this does not lite up when I turn the key on the car will start and I have power to the accessories. Even with the fuse pulled to the defrost the button will still light up. Ive checked grounds on the engine and replaced the spacer between my + battery cables. For some reason Im not getting power to the fuel pump when this occurs. Some days I can go right out and it will start right up and everything works.Other times I start it up and everything works, but if I turn on the rear defrost the car quits. Ive even disconnected the wires from the defrost and it still acts up.I pulled the console out because someone said there are ground connections under it that corrode, I could not find any grounds. This is driving me nuts. Any help would be appreciated.
