Just bought my daughter a 96 LaBaron. Its in really nice shape, however there a a few things that are bothering me.

I don't know if its normal but if you have the car in drive and just let foot off brake and do not press the gas pedal the car will go about 7mph, this seems fast to me?

Another thing is the fuel tank. Its a digital dashboard. The tank never shows above 1/2, even if its full....any ideas on that one.

With the key on engine off, remove the connector at the fuel tank sending unit and ground the wire for the guage. If the indicator is now reading full, the fuel sending unit is faulty. I don't have a wiring diagram here for the car so I can't tell you which wire color needs to be grounded.

Thanks Steve, will give it a try. Although I do not have a manual and Chiltons pretty much suck, but maybe they have that wire print?
