I HAVE A 1996 KIA SEPHIA AND I NEED INFO FOR CV AXLE REPLACEMENT DIAGRAMS? IT IS STUCK IN THE TRANSMISSION AND AM HAVING DIFFICULTY LOCATING THE REPAIR MANUEL FOR THIS PIECE OF CRAP CAR. THIS IS MY SONS CAR. RAN GREAT WHEN WE GOT IT BUT HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A MONEY PIT FOR PAST 3 MONTHS. CAN SOMEONE HELP?

The axle shaft slips onto the trans output shaft through splines. There is an internal lock clip that the axle shaft slides over in the process. Try taking a pry bar and prying back on the shaft close to the transmission. Load the pry bar and give it a hard whack on the handle with your hand. The shaft should then pop and slide by the clip.
Sorry about the lousy description. This is my technique but I would have an easier time to show you as opposed to describing it.
