1996 Chrysler Sebring Alternator Seized

 1996 Chrysler Sebring 2.5/6 Alternator Seized what would cause that to happen car has approximately 114,000 miles and I have had limited problems with it bought it with 57,000 miles on it and happen to love the car and wonder what would cause that to happen. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

That's not uncommon, bearing do go on those & when the do it usually seizes up. Now if you just put a belt on it & cranked the tensioner down with an impact gun, that wouldn't of been good for it...........
