1995 jeep grand cherokee headlamp

the passenger side headlamp will not come on when on low beams it has a new bulb so i know its not the bulb it used to come on when you smack it a couple times now it wont do anything but works on high beams please help

New bulbs can go bad . Check for power at connector to bulb with a test light to confirm pwr , make sure connector fits tight .
