My Front right makes a humming noise, as i increase speed it gets louder and louder. I cant even drive on the freeway because going 50 plus is too loud for my taste.

I took my car (1995 Honda Civic) to a mechanic to fix the front passenger side wheel bearing. After replacing the wheel bearing, the loud noise in the car continued. He did inform me that the old wheel bearing that was taken out was damaged, and was correct about it needing to be replaced. ...after replacing the front right wheel bearing, the exact noise continued, He also switched the bald tires from the front to the back..... he then further inspected and told me the noise was coming from the bearing in the transmission.

...When i drive it the noise is there, wheather i turn to the left or go straight the noise is still there. But when i turn to the right when driving the noise goes away.

My question is, If the noise is coming from the transmission bearing, would it be possible that the noise would stop when turning to the right..

Im just trying to understand if the transmisison bearing has more or less pressure when turning left or right?

sounds like a wheel bearing issue to me sounds like left side (driver). usually if a bearing is gone in the trans it wont change shifting the weight of the car side to side by steering left to right.

Right Z - this if noise changes with shifting weight or steering left or right while driving along is a wheel bearing common symptom. It isn't always easy to know which one as somehow a bad left side can sound like it's from the right. Sometimes you aren't sure till the sucker is in your hands - then you are as you can feel a bad one of the hub style,
