There is a slow leak coming from the front part of the engine. It's not on the bottom, it's coming from the face. It creates a small oil spot after parked for 24 hours. If I wasn't so obsessed I'd ignore it. It's a mess in there and I'm having a problem finding it. Is there a common problem with leaking oil on this engine? I think I'll have the mech look at it at the next oil change unless anyone has an idea. I know it could be a million things just hoping for the 'notorious' response. Thank you.

Oil sources in the front are Crankshaft seal, timing cover gasket. The oil pressure sender is mounted on the left side of the engine, front of car. If the leak is ever higher it could be the lower intake manifold gasket. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
