had the fuel tank replaced awhile back, car goes from full tank to empty(according to guage) in 200-225 miles.
18 gallon tank, and runs flawlessly. Tank was installed by mechanic.
Im certain the tank is no-where near empty when guage says it is empty, but would rather not leave it to the driver to find out the hard way, anything i can check or do to see whats up, and anything i can do to correct the guage?

Thanks

HB

That's pretty easy. Fill it up and see how much it takes.

poorly worded on my part...
any way to re-calibrate the fuel guage without removing the fuel tank?

No, you can't even do it with the tank removed unless you find the float al bent annd even then it would have to be replaced.
