1st thing is to find out what basic piece is missing, spark or fuel. Get a spark tester and check for spark. These aren't the easiest to check fuel pressure but that should be done as well... If it has spark, spray some carb clean down the throttle body to see if that will make the engine start for a few seconds....

Next you should check your timing belt. Take the oil cap off and see if you can see a rocker arm, if you can crank the engine and make sure the rocker arms are moving, if you can't see one, take a couple bolts out of the timing cover over the cam gear and pry it gently foward so you can see the gear. Then have a helper crank the engine over and make sure the gear is turning. If the rocker arms or cam gear don't move, you have a stripped/broken timing belt..........

It's possible it's a bad module but other things should be checked as well..... 1st thing you should do is check all your fuses just to be sure they're good. You need to make sure the IC (control module) is recieving a signal from the crank sensor.... If you have a tach, see if it shows rpms while cranking, if not you should get a noid light and check for injector pulse. If the IC is recieving a signal, has power & ground barring a bad wire or PCM it's faulty..........
