Hi...I have a 1994 Chevy S10 Blazer with the push button 4WD...it has 129,000 miles on it. When I push the 4 HI button the light does stay on and I can hear a "click" noise which I assume is the hubs locking in electronically (but I could be wrong as I don't have a lot of knowledge of vehicle repair). Even with the light on and after hearing the "click" noise the 4WD still does not engage. In 4 LO it is the same but once and a while it will engage for a short time and slip out. What are some things I can look at or rule out to try and repair this problem or is it something that would be too difficult to try and repair if I've never worked on 4WD before? I'm trying to sell the vehicle and no 4WD is gonna be a major deal breaker I think, especially where I live.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR OR DOING, TAKE IT TO SOMEONE THAT DOES. IT MAY BE A MINOR OR MAJOR ISSUE, BUT MOST PLACES WILL GIVE YOU A FREE ESTIMATE, THEN AT LEAST YOU NOW WHAT YOU ARE DEALING WITH, PRICE WISE.
