1993fordf-350doesnt turn over

turn the key & it goes tink. battery is at 13.9 amps .lights,radio, work. solenoid replaced,still nothing. no visible corrosion on wiring.what do you think?

Already responded with likely cable connections being the trouble.
Take a look at battery volts when you try the starter. If it drop right off and starter is trying but can't turn engine the engine may be in trouble or the starter.
What do you mean Batter is at 13.9 amps? Do you mean volts? Even that is high for a battery just sitting there for volts. Ok for operating voltage or if just charged for a short time. Think of amps as volume and volts as "pressure"
Try jumping it and if that works have the battery charged and tested,

thanks for your patience! i jumped the truck today,after visually inspecting the connections.out of 10 attempts tostart it ,3times it turned over and 7 times it went tink!after about the seventh try all i got were tinks.anymore advice would be greatly appreciated!

Could be a faulty tinker.  Be sure to check the connection at the starter. The large cable, coming from the battery and the post that it connects to. The post that it connects to can become loose. Does this have a solenoid on the starter as well as one on the firewall? Sure sounds like a faulty connection or a faulty starter. (assuming the battery (ies) are good). Gas or diesel?

i put a wrench on each connection. the starter connections were loose .the truck turned over ,but it wouldn't start.

Whole new problem, huh? Does it crank over at normal speed, or is it laboring? You may have to recharge the battery, now. If it's cranking at normal speed, check for spark at the plugs. Got spark? , check plugs to see if they are fuel fouled. Could be from all of the attempts at starting.
