1993 pontiac grand am wont start

We just changed the fuel pump and filter and the car is not starting. It will crank but it will not kick over. Car runs for 5-7 minutes then dies and will not restart until the following day. We have fuel pressure at the return line but no way of adapting to it to check pressure. What else can this be?

carfreak; You need to determine if you are losing spark or fuel when this happens. Should be able to rent a fuel pressure guage and spark tester at local parts stores. Many possibilities, here, unfortunately.
