my car won't start it won't even turn over at all its like the battery is dead but it doesn't click like a dead battery, i can't even boost it with a charger anymore, all my lights and stuff still come on and i had the battery tested and its in high health, any idea? i have never had any probs with the starter in the 3 years i have had this car, i did just to some work on it but i am sure i hooked up every thing where is was and it ran, and i drove it for about 5 days after putting it back together.

What motor, 4.0 v6 or 5.0 v8? Does it give you one, and just one solid click when you turn the key to start.. is it possible maybe your big black ground or red power wire rubbed thru somewhere or burned to the exhaust manifold, or are disconnected? What work did you do on it that your sure you hooked everything back up correctly?

its a 4.0 v6 i replaced the intake gasket i ended up removing the alternator the a/c the power steering pump and my distributer, along with various wires and vacuum lines. it will click when i turn the key but thats it just one. it ran and started when i was finished it just wouldn't start one evening so i jumped it it ran for a little i shut it off and tried to start it again and nothing. i cleaned my terminal cables and the battery itself i secured the connection. i checked the distributer connection, and the alternator.
