When I go to crank up my jeep wants to drown out and shut off. So I got to push the gas to the floor to get it going. Once it gets into 2nd it drives smoothly. I already changed the fuel filter and spark plugs. Any suggestions or ideas?

The first step would be to have the computer scanned for stored trouble codes. You can also analyze the sensor data with the scan tool to get an idea what may be happening. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

You got a fuel pressure gauge tester that you could screw into the fuel rail test port while the problem is happening? Fuel pressure should be around 31 psi with the engine running and shouldn't drop like a lead weight when you turn the ignition off. This to me doesn't sound like a person that has a DRB scan tool...LOL. You could do the key dance to see if there any codes stored: Turn the ignition on, off, on, off, and then on. Count the flashes of the check engine light. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Yea I did the ignition switch test and I looked up the codes on the intertnet. It came up Battery or computer recently disconnected. What does that mean and how do I solve the problem?

It means just that. The battery power has been interrupted recently and erased the computer recorded memory.
