1991 Honda accord.

My wife ran out of gas in my honda. I put gas in it and didnt start. i tested the fuel pump to see if it was pumpin gas, and it was. so i figured it was the fuel filter. I replaced the filter and it still wont start. Have any sugestions on what else it could be??

How did you test it to see if it was "pumping gas?"
Does it have spark?
What is the fuel pressure?
Check the fuses?
Sure it ran out of gas ?
Engine timing belt didnt break did it?
Try a light spray,(and i mean a very light spray) ( alittle dab will do ya) type thing of starting fluid in the throttle body or air intake and see if it starts.<<<<<<AT your own risk of course....>>>>>>>>>>.To much can damage the engine!!!!!!!!!!!
May just have to get the air out of the system and build the pressure up.
