It is hard to start, idles fine, but when you give it gas it dies. Is the check engine light on? If so, jumper A to B in the diagnostic connector and count the flashes of the check engine light. Fuel pressure on that should be 40-47 psi. Just because you replaced the pump, without verifying it was the fault in the beginning, doesn't mean you have good fuel pressure now. That would be a place to start.
