I have had it for 1 year and have put fewer than 1000 miles on it. It recently started misfiring under acceleration. I pulled the plugs and found 6 of them to be wet with gas around the threads but not on the electrodes. I replaced the plugs and for a short while (15 miles) the problem went away. Now it seems to come and go. I can and will replace the wires and distributer cap etc, but thought I'd get some input on the wet plugs first. When it misses it reminds me of what happens when moisture gets inside the distributer cap. Is this a fuel management problem or electrical? Thanks for any advice. Spark plug wires can and do break up(misfire) under a load (acceleration). Go with the wires,cap and rotor replacement and see what happens. Recheck the plugs after replacement......make sure none fouled out...if so they will need replacement again. Make sure the plugs are gapped correctly as well. And it would probably be a good idea to change the engine oil and filter at that time as well...just in case fuel got into the oil....
