SmileI was doing some head scratching the other day , about all the problems i was having with the car and how all I wanted to do was to fix the issue and just drive it !!
I thought I would disconnect the " Clutch Pedal Safety Switch" for lack of the correct terminology we'll just call it that. I took it for a test drive and it drove great!!! No symptoms of jumping or bucking at 2000 to 3000 rpm... everything was silky smooth!!
The only thing i don't have is cruise control, I will try to replace the switch and hopfully that will work ,if not I can live without cruise...
I am very thankfull to all of you who offered help and possible soulutions... THANK YOU!!
Happy Days are here again!!!

What compelled you to disconnect the clutch safety switch?

Well Tom, I remembered that every time i just touched the clutch pedal when I was driving, it would cut out for a second, so when I shifted and didnt get the right rpm it would jump and buck , I should have looked at that first but thought it couldnt be that, I bypassed the first rule of troubleshooting -- Check the simple things first--.
Anyway I'm happy and now I have a real nice car to drive!!

Thanks Again
