We just replaced the head and were putting it back together and when I started to hook up the battery there was sizzling and smoke from the area by the brake booster. I realized the key was in the run position after I disconnected the battery. Now all I have is head lights. There is nothing when you turn the key, and I search all over the engine compartment and under the dash for any sign of something burnt. I was hoping there is something like a fusible link or something similar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
