1973 Nova Vacuum Hose diagram	Sign In

I am looking for the vacuum hose diagram for a 1973 Chevy Nova with a 307 engine. Any idea where I might look or does anyone happen to have those lying around I could take a look at?

Sorry I don’t have any of those diagrams any more; from memory they were just generic diagrams anyway.
We always used the vehicle emissions control information (VECI) decal that was stuck to something under the hood, for specific vacuum hose routing, for that vehicle.
I know yours is likely long gone or is so badly faded that you can’t read it anymore. But that’s the way it was back then.
Maybe try goggling VECI decal and your application; maybe there is somebody out there making reproductions? But then again, you won’t really know if it’s going to be 100% accurate for your Nova? There were a few different configurations of systems out there; depending on whether it had overseas, Canadian, US or Us California emissions?
What I’ve had to do with an older car that I was trying to bring back to original, was to look at the individual vacuum systems that came on the car or at least what was left of the systems and then try and piece it back together from memory.
If that is what you’re trying to do, is restoring to original; then the diagram is just the beginning of your problems. A lot of the thermal vacuums switches that are likely either physically broken or just not functioning anymore; are no longer available via application catalogs.
If this is a running issue, you’re having with the car; tell us what the symptoms are and we can try helping with whichever vacuum system that could cause a running issue?
