2009 Ford Fusion 3.0 52K The carpeting under the floor mat on the front passenger side of car is wet. Is this coming from the AC system? What is the remedy?

It could be clear water from the A/C condensation drain being plugged up and not draining properly or it could be coolant from a leaking heater core. It could even be rainwater from an external leak. I would start out by checking the coolant level. Sample the water and see if it appears to be coolant or pure water. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I live in Florida so I run the A/C nearly all year. There is no smell to the moisture so I believe it is clear water. How would rainwater get in?

Find the drain where it comes through the firewall and clean it out with a coathanger. Blowing some compressed air into it may help too.
