08 Tahoe lectric mirror will not fold....

I have a 08 Tahoe with electric mirrors and I went thru a car wash and didn't fold in the mirrors. subsequently the car wash bar hit the passenger side mirror and now it will not move but you can hear the motor/gears moving. it seems to be off track. any ideas.. Thanks

Sounds like something is bent or jammed inside. It may need a new mirror but would have to be examined to determine that.
