07 Civic Coupe - Transmission problems?

I'm wondering if someone could point me in the right direction with what may be wrong with my car. It's an 07 Civic Coupe / manual transmission. I have two problems:
a) Sometimes I can't get it into 1st gear and I have to play with it (i.e shift into second, then try 1st again).
b) Now I'm having issues on take-off from first and even 2nd. As I'm releasing the clutch and just after I start pressing on the gas, my car is vibrating. About 3 times to be exact...before it runs smoothly.
I know it's not an issue with my ability to drive stick! I have basically ONLY driven stick my entire life so it's not a bad technique problem. It's actually vibrating and it's not me.
I'm wondering if my clutch is starting to give out which would shock me because it's pretty much brand new. I've only had it since April 07.
I'm also having issues with stone chips - rusting overnight. Crazy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I really just need an answer on B). The rest is just to see if anyone else has these issues!
