06 Suburban hesitating at take off

2006 Chevy Suburban, 5.3 liter V-8 Stalling at take off. This problem has gradually grown worse over the last year. The stall is not an engine stall but I believe it is something in the electrical system telling the throttle assembly that the brake is still on. when this happens there is clicking noise under the dash somewhere around my feet. You can simulate the same noise if you apply the brake, and gas at the same time. At first the car would hesitate for a second or two making this clicking noise, now it hesitates, almost stalls and then runs fine. This never happens unless you have come to a complete stop. It feels as though there is a limit switch on the brakes, that the throttle assembly senses the brakes are still on. When it releases the vehicle runs perfect. I called a dealership, and he had not experienced this problem. Can anyone identify the problem?

Phil; This is waaay out there, but could it possibly have a broken motor mount? And you are feeling/hearing the clunk when the engine raises under accel? (losing ECM ground at the same moment?) I know, it's waaaaaay out there, but....A faulty TPS can definitely cause a severe hesitation, but wouldn't account for any associated noises.

Thanks for the input, but the noise is not a clunk, it sounds more like a relay clicking. I believe the problem is electrical. If you have a late model GM truck or burban, and you depress the accelerator and brake at the same time, you will hear the noise I am describing.

So, let me try to understand this; If you have your foot on the brake, and you push on the throttle, you hear what sounds like a relay click? Hmmmmm. I can fathom that you may hear a click when the brake light switch
connects, but the throttle? Strange.
