I have had this equinox for 2 years without any problems. Now twice this winter I've tred to start it, once with the aftermarket remote start and once with the key and all it did was click. I could tell from everything else that the battery was fine and I would leave it alone for like 5 minutes and then it would start just fine. I would like to get this fixed so I'm not suddenly stranded one day.

You should still have the battery tested and to make sure the cables are clean and tight. If that all checks good, you could have a starter issue or something with electrical going on. You would need to check for power, trigger, and ground down at the starter when the problem is occurring to have a starting point. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
