05 civic reverb heater

i have an 05 honda civic reverb that has been sitting in -25 to -30 weather for a week and when i came back my heater will not turn on! i was wondering if it could be a fuse?

sitting in the cold would not blow a fuse...
did you test your cooling system for its freezing protetion point????? at those temps id be concerned with possible ice blocking the heater core if your cooling system wasnt up to par.
secondly its possible your thermostat is stuck open preventing a timely warm up thus giving you the illusion the heat doesnt work
also what is a civic reverb?????

Do you mean the heater blower motor will not turn on, or that it isn't getting warm? The heater core could be frozen from lack of anti-freeze, or the blower motor itself is frozen, fuse blown, motor burned out, relay, ect.

There is such a model seems to be sold in Canada. No matter - if the blower doesn't blow air then I'd blame it on the motor just being sticky first - give it a whack (easy now) and it may snap to and if so replacement would be more permanant.
If the anti-freeze protection is/was the issue - get a sample and test it for level of protection. It can freeze, not circulate AND might not break anything if there's some but inadequate amounts of concentration but some - say good to +10F or so (guess.) Engine would overheat though too which is to be avoided!

ok. i lost the keys for my car and had to get my car towed to the honda dealership and they had to scan it and cut a new key and put the chip in it, they wouldnt have f'ed something up when they did the chip?

ok so i had my car plugged in all of lastnite and i went out to start my girlfriends car today i started mine as well, the heater works now and im just assuming that it was froze up. Thanks your all your help.
