'03 sebring skipping

I have a sebring that i replaced the plugs and wires on about a week ago after it got really cold and wouldnt start. after we had that work done it ran fine, then tonight i went out and after i got around the 2 on the RPM meter it would kick back at me or skip when i would accelerate any further. please help!!

Recheck the sparkplug wires for good connection/also did the check engine light come on at the time this started happening?
