03 Montana Front Wipers dont park (reverse when off)

When wipers are turned off they don't park (reverse) into off position. Instead they're fully up.
Someone long ago had mentioned tip or trick to possibly get GM wipers to park properly.
Anyone have diagram of wiper motor assembly AND/Or the "tricks" to try to get wipers to reverse again and properly park...before buying new wiper motor.

It has a "module" cover right on the motor that is responsible for parking or sometimes the drive linkage will strip out. You have to examine it.
