01 town n country

my 01 town and country want start. took my kids to the doc's office and when i came out it was idolin bad then put it in reverse and then in drive, then it died. my check engine light came on and needless to say it was towed home. why just all of the sudden? is their a common proplem with this type of van. and how would you know if its the a relay?

This could be any number of things, fuel pump, fuel filter, battery, spark plugs...Need more info. Does it start now?? if engine light came on, your car is telling you something. get a mobile mechanic to get the engine code, and then a problem, get a quote and then tell us.
