Kind of a loaded question ">Do they know what they are doing<" Maybe NOT. New alignment, brakes, and so forth it should feel pretty new. There's more to brakes than meet the eye and I can't speak for the alignment but you should have a printout that it's within specs! T

Just going off what you said you've had done then is sounds like they need to take a look at again. You're asking questions impossible to answer without knowing the whole situation. The best advise I can give you is just go back with your paperwork and tell them what problem you are having and what it's doing & when. I would refrain from "explaining to them what they did wrong" or telling them how to do their job, unless your training & experience puts you in a position to be able to do that but it's still wouldn't be received in the best of light in this situation. Going off what little info there is, it sounds like a memory steer problem. In the front suspension there are parts that develop bad spots that when they hit that spot, instead of rotating thru, just stop at that spot and requires the driver to manually move the steering wheel to get the wheels back to center. It could be a bad strut bearing plate, bad rack & pinion, binding ball joint, etc...... The frt end would need to be inspected...... Did it have this condition before the repairs?
