I have a: 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5l 4-cyl with around 150k miles on it. Recently I had my P0138 (Bank 1 Sensor 2 O2 Sensore Voltage) code come on in my car. I've been having trouble with power loss and my gas mileage being reduced. I recently replaceced my Pre-Cat and it seemed to fix the power loss, but now I'm getting a definite putter or possibly a knock coming from the engine when under load. I've included a video so you can kind of hear what I'm hearing. Anyone know what I'm dealing with here? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrb2RB7dlKo Thanks in advance!

That code does not refer to pre-cat sensor. It's a downstream sensor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

There are two sensors built into my pre-cat...cat? My car has two catalytic converters. The pre-cat (a converter built directly into my exhaust manifold) has two O2 sensors attached two it. One above the catalyst (upstream) and one below the catalyst (downstream).

Sounds like an exhaust leak to me. Maybe when you brake torque the engine an exhaust part moves and leaks. Possible flex pipe? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
