Even if you drained all the gas there is probably still cereal additive there. Also there will be the same in the fuel injection system. A fuel system flush would be a good idea. You can drop the fuel tank and flush it thouroughly with hot water. Disconnect the fuel lines at the fuel rails and do the same thing. (Be sure to dry out everything before reconnecting). You can 'hope' that the injectors didn't get plugged, but those can be cleaned as well. A Motor Vac fuel injection cleaning can be done at most shops. Is in the $100 neighborhood and should be done every 30-40K, anyway. If you haven't had this service before, you'll probably notice an increase in fuel economy and performance. So, you can look at it as maintenance.
