taurus misfiring like crazy

hello i have a 03 taurus with a 3.0 v6 it was running smooth and then it started missfiring alote and its only been 3 mounths since i gave it a tune up spark plugs 'wires ' and i just put a new coil pack in it today but it still doing the same thing ''what could it be ?? please help

The check engine light has to be on if it's misfiring. What are the code numbers being store?

Then #4 cylinder is where you concentrate on your testing. Test for consistent spark with a spark tester. If spark is good, then check injector pulse with a noid light.

well i cheaked the spark and the injecters working fine 'but i can here a clacking sound now and this car is running like a Harley motor cycle

i dont have a tester for that type of thing how much do one of them cost ? and i wanted to ask you do you think it could be the crank sensor ?

Call around, you may be able to borrow or rent one from a parts house.....
With these symptoms a crank sensor is highly unlikely

ok thank you guys i been told it is likely a valve seized do you think that could be it ? because really what els is there that could cause this ?

No, that's not a likely theory at all. Have you done the compression test as you were asked to?

I took off the valve cover and found that one of the springs were broke that must be it right ?

Yep, that would do it. Don't try to take it apart unless you know what you're doing. If you drop that valve the head will have to come off.

It doesn't sound like you need the light now if your right about the broken valve spring.
