My 15yr old son bought a 1997 saxo 1.1 single point injection saxo, he put in a new engine but when connecting the battery he had the starter lead from the batttery connected as a eath by mistake the battery made a few sparks from + connector then stopped now there is no life from engine , we cant find any blown fuses please help

Unfortunately I don't really have access to info on that model. But most cars do have fuses for protect for problems like this. Some are regular fuses and others are what is called a fusible link. What this is, is a piece of wire that has very weak metal that is designed to burn out in the event of a short. This way the whole harness & component isn't damaged... If you have access to a manual for this car. See if it has a section for fuses & fusible links. More than likely that is where your problem lies...
