Hi everyone, my wife purchased a 2000 pontiac sunfire with 165000 miles on it. it idles very rough to the point that it dies. I've noticed that it will start off in the 1000 and then drop down to the 500 mark on the tach. I've used injection cleaner, changed the spark plugs,oil, air and oil filter. also is there a gasket behind the timing housing? I'm getting an oil leak somewhere behind the engine. the previous owner didn't take care of the veh. thanks

What engine do you have? Is this the quad 4?
Is the engine misfiring?
