can i replace a carb that is computer controlled with one thats not will my car run right if i do this i have a rodchester quad jet and it is comupter controlled..i want to put a edidlebrock 600cfm on it will it work?

Most likely yes. But it would really help to know what model year, and is that legal for your locale? Could be trouble in some places to mess with "Mother Nature" - In the peoples republic of Massachusetts your veh would be taken off the road if model year 1984 or newer. Would hate to see you waste the money and effort if that applies to you,

If it's running well keep it original. Just a carb won't change performance a lot.

If you do change it save the old parts, even if not working well they could be fixed and put back later.
