Search Auto Parts Search rand cherokee rough idle with codes Sign up here!   Email This Post Auto Repair Home>> Automotive Repair>> Engine Troubleshooting leftys4js New User Jan 24, 2010, 11:26 AM Post #1 of 3 (1357 views) rand cherokee rough idle with codes Sign In Hello i recently posted about a miss and hard starting problem, its a 5.2L v8after monitering alittle more its not a miss. more of a rough idle and acts if it wants to die at lights/stop signs also notice at times it wants to die the voltage drops below normal but when accelerating goes back up and stays....new cap and rotor and plugs and wires and still the same..i was able to get 2 codes that i didnt have before they are 32-EGR solenoid circuit -open or short detected in EGR solenoid circuit /EGR system failure required change in fuel/air ratio not detected during diagnostics test.. 52-air/fuel at limit-oxygen sensor signal indicates lean air/fuel ratio during engine operation. where is the EGR solenoid located i could not find it.
