Hi there I,m planing to buy a car, what is the best method to check the automatic transmission.

My honest opinion, if you plan on purchasing a vehicle, is to drive it over to your mechanic and let them check the vehicle over. They can put it up on a lift and look underneath, inspect the vehicle's system, and test drive the vehicle to determine if there are any major problems or not. If there are problems, you can use the cost of repair to negotiate the selling price. If there are some major issues that would cost a lot of money to repair at least you would know before buying into a money pit. The small fee to have it checked out is worth it.
