Help!!
I have a Peugeot 106 V reg 99. For the last few months I have had trouble starting the car. I have to put my foot hard on the gas to start and within the first minute or so of the journey if i take my foot off of the gas it will cut out.
The main problem really is when i am driving the car it starts to pull and then starts jumping as if i keep slamming my foot on the brake. There is no pattern to this and can do it at any time. It also starts to rev, and the car sounds very blowy, which is very embarassing when sat at traffic lights and everyone thinks you are going to race them! The reality is that I move off and it starts jumping.
I have taken the car to the garage 3 times - and of course it doesn't do this for them or when i take them out in it. They have plugged in to the computor and done lots of checks but can't find a thing wrong with it.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

could it be the timing of the car is out?
i had a similar thing happen in my 106 and this was the problem
