I have a 2005 chevy express van with 115,000 miles. The oil pressure gauge reads 80 lbs. all the time. Is this a bad sensor?

Maybe, maybe not. Stepper gauges were notorious for going bad on those though. Best thing for you to do is to get it into a shop that can do a gauge sweep test and look at the EOP(engine oil pressure) value in their enhanced scan tool's data stream. If it fails a gauge sweep test, the cluster needs to come out and sent off for repair. If the value matches the gauge reading, then oil pressure sensor and wiring needs to be checked out. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
