oil; getting into the air filter Sign In

I have a 97 Ford Ranger xlt 2.3L I have oil getting into my air filter from the pipe that goes between the valv cover to the air filter and my truck runs like crap what could cause this. I just replaced the head gasget and maefold gasgets, plugs and wires, pcv valve valve cover gasget,and air filter. help!!!

You probably have a little too much wear in the rings and cylinder walls and you're getting too much blowby now.

How was it running before your repair?

it ran good tell we had to remove the catalitic converter then we found we had water i9n our oil so we replaced the head gasget thats when this all started
