hi all,
i have a 1999 nissan sentra gxe 4-cylinder. i drove it to a coffee shop tonite and it was fine, but when i started it up to go home, it was idling very low rpm - around 200-300, when it is usually around 1K and above. i tried restarting it a couple times (like i would do w/a computer. lol!) but it stayed at the low idle. i remember this happening briefly a couple times in the past couple months, but this is the first time that it maintained the low idle when i restarted. i drove a couple miles to my girlfriend's house, but am wondering if it is safe to drive 100 miles to my home. i need to get to work, and was planning to put my car in the shop in the town i live in, instead of taking the train for work tomorrow. any advice much appreciated.
