i have an 04 chrysler pt cruiser gt and it has lost power at 50-60 it back fires through the air breather don't have any idea what it might be oh oh straight aways its ok up hill it loses power there to plus it a 2.4l turbo, thanks the code is po300

Did check engine light come on? If it did need trouble codes read. Autozone do it for free.

thanks i did not know they did that i mean thats the only place to shop and now there making it better just so you know the code is po300 and 4 problems ignition system (from spark plug to coil), vacuum leak, injector fault, high or low fuel pressure so thank again for that on saved $60 priceless

your vehicle is experiencing a lean condition.Fuel pressure would have to be measured under load or no power condition.It could be faulty/weak fuel pump.Faulty or dirty injectors.It could be ignition related/pcm or sensors....take your pick.The low power uphills sounds like fuel pump.Tests would have to be done.P0300 just means that something is disrupting the air/fuel ratio to cause a missfire.Fuel pressure would have to be monitored while driving.
